MasterFiber MAC 330
Synthetic Macrofiber
How does MasterFiber MAC 330 work?
MasterFiber MAC 330 product is a high-performance polyolefin synthetic macrofiber with a twisted rope structure, engineered for use as a secondary reinforcement to control shrinkge and temperature cracking, and settlement cracking. MasterFiber MAC 330 product has been created specifically to replace welded-wire reinforcement (WWR) and reinforcing bars that are typically used as temperature and shrinkage reinforcement.
Recommended uses
Typical applications include, but are not limited to, the following:
Hard-troweled concrete
Industrial and warehouse floors
Residential and commercial slabs-on ground
Concrete pavements
Composite metal decks
Architectural panels
White topping/Overlays
What are the unique features of MasterFiber MAC 330 synthetic macrofiber?
Uniform distribution throughout the concrete matrix
Exceptional finishability
Improves green strengths
Alkali resistant and rust proof
Improved post-crack flexural performance
What are the benefits of MasterFiber MAC 330 synthetic macrofiber?
Eliminates the need for welded-wire reinforcement (WWR) and conventional steel bars used as shrinkage and temperature reinforcement, depending on application
Reduces carbon footprint compared to convetional steel reinforcement
Increases speed of construction
Improves job site safety
Reduces overall labor and material costs
Enhances concrete durability and impact resistance
Lower paste demand compared to traditional synthetic macrofibers
