MasterRoc SRS 720
Two-component, fast-reacting, spray-applied resin for high-resistance surface support
How does MasterRoc SRS 720 work?
MasterRoc SRS 720 is a fast-reacting, two-component resin designed to enhance stability and protect against weathering across a wide range of surfaces. The components are mixed and applied as a thin paste, hardening within minutes to provide high tensile and bond strength. With excellent adhesion to most substrates, the product significantly improves ground stability and stand-up time.
Recommended uses:
Stabilization of excavation faces and surrounding rock after blasting or cutting
Rock reinforcement in hard-to-access areas
Alternative to mesh/screen protection, with or without bolts
Preliminary surface protection before final construction
Mitigation of strain bursting and large deformations in hard rock
Protection against air-slacking and rock weathering
Pillar/rib support
Rehabilitation of damaged or unstable areas
Masonry and brick line refurbishment
Vent-stopping applications
What are the unique features of MasterRoc SRS 720?
Fire-resistant
Fast setting and rapid strength development (< 5 minutes)
Strong adhesion to a variety of substrates (rock, coal, concrete, steel, etc.)
Water-resistant – prevents expansion or degradation upon water contact
Easy to mix even at low temperatures (> 40 °F (5 °C))
Ready-to-use for simple and efficient application
What are the benefits of MasterRoc SRS 720?
Enhances structural stability and safety
Increases service life of treated surfaces
Reduces material waste with precise application
Improves efficiency in tunneling, mining, and rock stabilization
